In this full day workshop we will cover:

  • writing an abstract
  • preparing your presentation
  • managing your moment (include self, voice, AV etc)
  • delivering your presentation and enjoying it

You will need to bring a laptop computer, materials (eg project documentation if you are working on one otherwise a magazine or journal article for inspiration) from which to prepare your abstract and presentation and your sense of humour.  If you are planning to submit an abstract for a conference in 2011, you might wish to bring the call for abstracts and any background papers and use the workshop to draft your submission.
