The Change Champions team has 18 years work experience in the health sector and 10 years experience in events design and production.

About our Managing Director

Char Weeks has a keen interest in supporting healthcare innovation and change programs and health workforce development.  A one time medical student at the University of Newcastle, she is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has qualifications in change management from the Australian Graduate School of Management.  Char has been Managing Director of Change Champions P/L, a leading producer of conferences for health professionals since 2005 and is a Director of Passion For Health.  Previously, Char has worked at executive level on a range of innovations programs both in Australia and overseas.  She was Executive Director of the Australian Resource Centre for Healthcare Innovations from 2002-2005.  More recently, she co-facilitated the Newcastle, NSW region health sub-group for the Prime Minister’s 2020 Summit.  Char believes that great organizations are created by valuing the efforts of great people.
